Are you training the wrong people?

We've been involved in media training for many years (24 years to be precise!) and have had the good fortune to work with clients all over the world. While Angola and Equatorial Guinea are hardly at the top of your holiday destination list, they are places where we have learned as much from the participants as they have from us about culture, customs media and public expectations from a company spokesperson.

Travelling long haul? This might help. . . . .

As you may already know, we’re in the UK right now running some media training and relative responder courses for our loyal clients. To get here we had many choices of airlines but ended up going ‘the pretty way’ so we could take advantage of our ‘ready to expire’ frequent flyer miles.

How safe are you? Beware what you share!

Just to make it clear, I haven't fallen out of love with social media. Two Facebook accounts, Two twitter pages, a dedicated radio show page, two Instagram accounts,LinkedIn and 3 websites prove that but these are changing times and the information we freely add to these and many other similar sites can come back and bite us on the proverbial rear end.

For those of you who have met me at a network event or taken part in one of our training courses, you'll know that I don't have a problem accepting a compliment. Why should I?
